Recognizes adult volunteers ages 18 and up that have exemplified the true spirit of giving back to the community.
Outstanding Volunteer Program of the Year A Nonprofit Agency that has an effective volunteer program that meets the needs of its clients, meets the goals of the agency's mission, and exemplifies outstanding best practices in volunteer administration. (Yes, you can nominate your own program! We encourage it!)
A leader on the board of directors who demonstrates personal participation in volunteer programs and encourages, fosters, and supports volunteerism at every level of the agency. Applicants are judged on volunteerism, not on financial contributions.
Small Group Volunteers of the Year A group of volunteers (9 or fewer volunteers) that has provided an outstanding service to the community.
Large Group Volunteers of the Year A group of volunteers (10 or more volunteers) that has provided an outstanding service to the community. This category is not judged on number of volunteers but on the impact to the community.
Recognizes an outstanding volunteer ages 65 or older.
Recognizes an outstanding volunteer under the age of 18 that has dedicated his or her young life to community service.
Outstanding Media Partner of the Year Nominate an outstanding media partner for their work in promoting your volunteer program. Applicants are judged on the participation of the media group in the volunteer program and the promotion of the agency's volunteer program to the community. This category includes television stations, newspapers, magazines, advertising agencies, marketing firms, radio stations, independent websites, etc. ______
