If you love reading, and want to share that love with an elementary or middle school student,

join the Academy Tutoring project today!

Or if math is your forte, become one of our “math-a-magicians” and encourage children to find out how much fun math can be.

Volunteer in an innovative “charter school setting” which provides a smaller, more personalized school atmosphere.
Work one-on-one with children who are not at grade level but want to excel academically and have parental support.
Enjoy the interaction and feedback from enthusiastic principals and teaching staff that highly value volunteer involvement.
Take advantage of tutor training, educational materials and support provided by Volunteer Memphis and school staff.
Meet other volunteers and share their enthusiasm and interests with the children to enhance the education environment.
Volunteer an hour a week and make a difference in the life of a child!
