VISTA Intermediary Role Back To Main

VISTA Intermediary • AmeriCorps VISTA Agency Forms About AmeriCorps

What’s a VISTA

VISTA Intermediary Role

In partnership with the Corporation for National and Community Service, Volunteer Mid-South serves as an intermediary agency for nonprofit organizations that address the root causes of poverty and work to bring Mid-South citizens or communities out of poverty.

Pending receipt of federal AmeriCorps funding, Volunteer Mid-South will review and approve AmeriCorps*VISTA Sponsor agencies and VISTA placements at organizations each year. The documents below will provide all the information you need to assess the VISTA Sponsor opportunity for your organization.

Become a VISTA Sponsor

Public, private, and faith-based nonprofit organizations-as well as local, state and federal organizations-can benefit greatly from linking up with AmeriCorps VISTA. Project sponsors are not required to provide a financial match but must be able to direct the project, supervise the members, and provide necessary administrative support to complete the goals and objectives of the project.  For more information, contact Ann Dotson at 523-2425 x 200.
